Compound curves form the top and sides of this piece. The wood is a red cedar Burl which was veneered at the shop and cut into pieces to form the parquetry pattern. There are twenty four pieces on the top and ten on each side. The trapped carved piece on the top is made of Pear, and the stand and trims are Mahogany.
